FAITH MEDIA MINISTRY CONTINUES THE MINISTRY OF THE FORMER ANCHORED IN FAITH GOSPEL CHURCH.
With mutual agreement of most of the members, Anchored in Faith Gospel Church officially closed as a physical church facility at the end of the July 11th, 2021 service. The decision was made prayerfully and was not made lightly.
Anchored in Faith officially recommends LifeHouse Church as a replacement church in the Iowa City, Iowa area. Their website is https://LifeHouseIC.com . LifeHouse Church has the core beliefs of Anchored in Faith Gospel Church. Their ministry style is more modern. Sermons are in most cases easier to understand. We believe that the congregation members of Anchored in Faith that have combined with the existing congregation of LifeHouse Church will result in a stronger church that will be prepared for better ministry in the times ahead.
Father Yahweh gave Anchored in Faith Gospel Church a large platform for ministry over the last twenty-five years through the use of Cable TV access channels on various Cable TV systems throughout eastern Iowa and western Illinois. Some of our television episodes were also shown briefly on Christian broadcast TV channels WJDW-LP in West Virginia as well as WJYS-DT 62.2 in Chicago. WJYS allowed us to be available to ten million homes in a four state area surrounding Chicago. The CABLE TV aspects of the “Anchored in Faith Classic” episodes are being relinquished to LifeHouse Church in order to provide better distribution of LifeHouse Church sermons. “Anchored in Faith Classic” WILL CONTINUE to be available on our present Internet video platforms. Anchored in Faith programming has also been available on YouTube over the last several years. We later expanded our Internet video outreach to include Facebook, followed by Rumble, and more recently BitChute. Anchored in Faith has been viewed in several countries via these video platforms.
The operation of the Anchored in Faith Television Internet presence as well as the “anchoredinfaith.org” website and Anchored in Faith Facebook has transferred to a new ministry named “Faith Media”. Faith Media is operated by former Anchored in Faith media director John Schmidt. The basic operation of the Internet aspects of Anchored in Faith Gospel Church will NOT be affected by the physical church closure.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of Yahweh God as inherent in the original writings. We believe that there is only one God, in the form of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. We believe in and practice the holy ordinance of water baptism by immersion with evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:38), which signifies the believer’s death, burial, and resurrection into new life with Yeshua Christ Jesus, and the celebration of Holy Communion as commanded by Yeshua Jesus.
We believe in the present ministry and baptism of the Holy Ghost, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; those that are saved into the resurrection of life and those that are unsaved into the resurrection of damnation.
